The power of influence
The recent visit by Bill Gates to Singapore was much hyped by the media and well received by all. What suprised me the most was the influence he had on the people. Right from a common man to the Prime Minister to the most ardent computer geek, he did have some prestigious clout which had many staring in awe. Teamed as the world's richest man with wealth beyond thought, he was asked how he plans to spend all his fortune. Witful and artful as usual Bill opens the Gates of knowledge and explained how he is investing his wealth into medical research and also importantly into the development of a AIDS vaccine. Business man or wealthiest man, a man who is known to sell the worst software yet captures the world's imagination, is truely working towards reaching out to the needs of this beautiful earth. Hats off Bill ! Continue the good work
