The power of influence

The recent visit by Bill Gates to Singapore was much hyped by the media and well received by all. What suprised me the most was the influence he had on the people. Right from a common man to the Prime Minister to the most ardent computer geek, he did have some prestigious clout which had many staring in awe. Teamed as the world's richest man with wealth beyond thought, he was asked how he plans to spend all his fortune. Witful and artful as usual Bill opens the Gates of knowledge and explained how he is investing his wealth into medical research and also importantly into the development of a AIDS vaccine. Business man or wealthiest man, a man who is known to sell the worst software yet captures the world's imagination, is truely working towards reaching out to the needs of this beautiful earth. Hats off Bill ! Continue the good work

ya dushi, u r right...What a modern day and age we live in. It is great to have a genius
just on the other side of my keyboard. Finally I can have a healthy talk on all matters under the sun. BillGates is lacking in immagination.i think right now the stuffs in his baskets are running low. so he is planning to take advantage of the current wave,ie.. the outsourcing wave... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP WITH MY SYSTEM AND THANK U FOR PLACING MY PIC ON UR WEB PAGE.
At this rate I will start asking more and enjoying more. It is so nice to ask someone with a real answer instead of asking a shade
tree expert.
MAY LORD ALMIGHTY BLESS U...

Hey dude.. nice to see you using your own blog space..

About Bill Gates - as you yourself have admitted, no one can deny that no matter how many billions he makes or how many people he rips off thanks to his proprietory software, he has to be credited with bringing desktop computing to a virtual mouse click. I cannot even imagine still living in a world with DOS (tut tut.. again Microsoft) or Unix and using a word processor like Wordstar.

Whether most of us like it or not, we are using his software and I cant see for how long we can do away without it.

Hey thanks Harish, really cool of you post a note. Hope you are doing fine. Guess you are right when u said people will continue using Microsoft as I believe they have brought desktop computing to the layman. OK thanks and take care.
